Being in Paris has given me a new appreciation for beautiful hand and body soaps. They take pride in their washes! And I, too, remember the lathers and scents accompanied by a wonderful bar of the finest soap. It doesn't hurt that they look absolutely gorgeous displayed next to the sink.

Here are some to try:

Savon de Marseilles Pure Olive Oil Soap from the South of France - This is the traditional French Soap made with local lavender flowers. Big blocks of olive oil soap has been made in the south of France since 1688. It takes 2 weeks to make it. The delicate mixture of olive and vegetable oils, alkaline ash from sea plants and Mediterranean Sea salt water are heated for ten days in cauldrons, then poured into open pits where it hardens. all natural and unscented. $7.00

The lather is very creamy and gentle. We've added powdered Chamomile Flowers, Calendula Petals & Lavender Buds to this naturally colored soap. The color of this is a little darker than usual. $4.00
