Clinique: Fall 2008

Like their summer collection, Clinique's Fall collection is, most importantly, wearable. Modern Matte is glamorous and bold with colors that stand out but don't strike out. Cheeks are glowing, eyes are soft yet intense and lips are striking (like with most of the Fall collections, lips seem to be key this season - dark, moody, sexy).

I've always been a fan of Clinique - my first piece of makeup EVER was a Clinique lipstick in a shimmery mauve color (I probably stole it from my mom). I was instantly obsessed with the pretty pink paint on my pout. These Fall lipsticks brought back a sense of nostalgia - the lippies are so colorful, so smooth to apply, so moisturizing (without being glossy). I've gotta say, the lip colors are my favorite that I've seen in almost any Fall collection because they are actually wearable shades (albeit sometimes dramatic, but never scary lips). AND they all have SPF 15!!!!
