I've found some fabulous new lippies for a new year (hopefully, filled with lots and lots of kisses).
Here are a few of my favorites (new and rediscovered):
Senna's Sennamon Lip Frosting in Shade 1 - Literally a gorgeous pot of gold! This champagne-hued iridescent gloss looks great alone (with a little shimmer for your smile) or layered over a darker color for a splash of sparkle. It's super glossy and smells like cinnamon (and yes, it tingles a bit like cinnamon too)! $15.00
Kiss My Face Sheer Organic Shimmers - Part lip moisturizer, part shimmer, these sticks are fantastic! They offer a splash of natural color with a dose of sparkle to leave lips looking refreshed and feeling rehydrated (gloss is not a part of this lippy). Great for adding a bit of color to your day (without adding a dent in your wallet). $4.95
Softlips Pure Pomegranate - Remember those thin tubes of Softlips? They made a slight dent in the chapstick market back in the 90's. Well, 10 years later, with a mild makeover and an organic twist, the lip conditioners are back! The pure pomegranate has no color and isn't glossy. It's just pure moisture (a necessity in these dismal winter months) with a pleasant and natural scent that leaves lips, well, soft! $2.88
Lorac Mocktail - A rediscovered oldy! High on the gloss, these lippes add a nice sparkle to your pout. And they taste amazing - flavored like a tropical drink. I like the Tropical Dream - an au natural peachy hue that gives my lips a nice bling. It comes with a built-in gloss brush (which I love!) so there's no need to dirty up those pretty little fingers! $18.00
Rosebud Strawberry Lip Balm - What beauty whore isn't a fan of Rosebud Salve? I've just rediscovered the strawberry salve! Smelling like a strawberry field (yes, a Beatles reference), the balm offers high moisture and protection with a great, natural shine (sans the shimmer). The tin compact isn't only cute (and a bit retro), it's actually durable for those month-long visits in your purse! $4.95 (lasts for ages)
Be good to your lips and your lips will be good to you (and you know what that means!)...
