Bathing Beauty: Lauren Santo Domingo

Working at Vogue definitely has its perks. How about that infamous Vogue closet? Yep, it really does exist. But it's also a place where fashion and beauty so effortlessly coexist and the fashionistas sauntering through the office are some of the world's most stylish muses.

Take Lauren Santo Domingo, for instance (Davis is her maiden name). A former model, Lauren worked as a fashion assistant at Vogue before becoming one of the most sought after faces in the magazine's society pages (it's rumored that Lauren is the inspiration behind Gwyneth Paltrow's long bob!).

With equal parts beauty and brains, Lauren now works as a contributing fashion editor at the elite mag (she's also one of the most awesome, fun, inspiring girls that you will ever meet). She can debate current events with Charlie Rose just as easily as she can throw together a fabulous fete for the social set.

Lauren and I have been great friends for almost ten years (yikes, I'm getting old!). She is my go-to girl for all things current - restaurants, fashion advice, cute, single bachelors (although she is married to the equally amazing Andres Santo Domingo), vacation destinations... she's like a walking Zagat Guide!

Trish McEvoy Brightening Line Minimizing Concealer
I love the new Diorskin Nude Fresh Glow Hydrating Makeup with SPF 10 or the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. In the summer I prefer a tinted moisturizer. I love the Mineral Tint from Kimara Ahnert.

What is your all-time favorite product?
Eve Lom Cleanser (for the face). When used as directed with the cleansing cloth, my skin looks flawless.

Favorite beauty secret you've picked up along the way?
Don't rub in your moisturizer all the way as it will not absorb into your skin properly. It's best to pat on a thin layer and wipe away the rest with a tissue.

Gwyneth Paltrow has incredible discipline with her skin and fitness routine... and it shows.
