GIRL CRUSH: Julia Roberts

The countdown begins... only hours left until EAT, PRAY, LOVE hits the theater, and I can't wait. At the Los Angeles premiere of the film, Julia Roberts gave her game-face, looking like a real screen siren.

Let's start with the hair - flat-iron curls to elongate the look -- I LOVE this style, always have since way back when Nicole Richie made it famous. And Julia does it justice.

Moving on to the face, I love this sultry, natural smokey eye and nude lip combo, a staple of Julia's. She looks done up, but not overdone.

Julia’s red carpet makeup was created by celebrity makeup artist Genevieve Herr. Since Julia is a Lancome Ambassadress, much of the makeup is from the cosmetic's company.  And here we have the products used to create the look!

INSPIRATION: a chic and modern look that played up Julia’s light brown eyes and her sleek black ensemble.

FACE: For a natural complexion, Genevieve used Lancome's new Teint Miracle Foundation, an amazing radiance-boosting foundation launching next month, Laura Mercier Secret Concealer and Secret Brightening Powder followed by a cream blush in plum on the apples of the cheeks.

EYES: She wanted to give Julia soft, smoky eyes with a mix of blacks and plums.  To achieve this, she first applied Le Crayon Khôl in Black Ebony to line the eyes and then blended shadows from fall's French Coquettes collection called the French Touch Color Design Quad.  Her lashes were topped with Définicils Precious Cells Mascara in Black for a full, natural lash.

LIPS: She finished the look with a neutral lip using Le Lipstique Lip Liner in Sheer Natural, Color Design Lipstick in Love It! and a touch of Juicy Tubes in Spring Fling for the perfect photo-ready pout.

Here's to hoping the movie is as good as the red carpet face!
