Shu Uemura Art Of Hair: SHUSU SLEEK

And art it is. From the packaging (sleek dark auburn bottles), to the formula (black cumin oil sans paraben and silicones), Shu Uemura's newest collection, SHUSU SLEEK is just plain fabulous.

The scent is slightly masculine with a fresh twist (they call it floral oriental), so your man will love it too. With Black Cumin Oil, your hair will be nourished and your cuticle smooth, taming the hair fibers and calming volume giving you a sleek finish.  This is GREAT for someone with uncontrollable frizzies or volume that is not defined.

The collection contains 3 products: Smoothing shampoo, smoothing conditioner and smoothing treatment. All 3 are paraben-free and meant to smooth the hair fiber giving rebellious manes a healthy, vibrant and sleek strand.

A word (or several...) from the company:
"A smoothing hair care range, without parabens, that disciplines and nurtures coarse, unruly hair. Recreates for the first time a result as soft, radiant and fluid to the touch as the luxurious Japanese satin - Shusu."

And soft it is. I have wavy hair and this did a pretty good job of straightening the hair shaft. I air-dried my hair and bye-bye frizzies and flyaways. My hair was completely manageable and smooth.

I'm betting on these babies becoming cult status, joining the ranks of Shu's eyelash curler.

PRICE TAG: Shampoo $45.00 / Conditioner $55.00 / Treatment $65.00
