Golden Globes Hits and Misses

The 2010 Golden Globes saw its fair share of winners and losers. But what we here at Beauty Banter really care about are the faces (and manes) that graced the rainy red carpet Sunday night.

Here are our picks for hits and misses, 2010...

Cameron Diaz - Are those wrinkles I see cracking around the eyes. Woman, use an eye primer and some cream, stat. I'm sort of over Cameron in bright red lips, I prefer her in a darker burgandy. She looks wet and uncomf, a little messy.. Not her night.

Chloe Sevigny - Tres glams for Ms. Sevigny. I thought she looked stunning. The bun, the mauve smokey eye, the bright lips, the earrings, everything worked. And winning best actress didn't hurt. Favorite quote of the night, "I can't believe he just ripped my dress!"

Drew Barrymore - She's been having a fab year career and look-wise. Last night was no exception. Love the red lip. Love the low chignon. Love her.

Fergie - While I've seen her look worse, I've also seen her look better. Her eyebrows KILL me and the pink lipstick somehow is clashing with the violet dress. I never thought I'd say this but, she may not be wearing enough makeup to do the style justice. Perhaps a thicker liner and a nuder lip would suffice.

Ginnifer Goodwin - Mod just got a makeover. Loving this look on Ginnifer. The hair is phenom and the makeup is very Edie Sedgwick meets Twiggy. Great extended liner with pale, frosty lips. Total '60's throwback.

January Jones - The satin headband is worn way too close to her forehead - that's not the look, woman! Like the red lips, she's got great brows, not loving the poofy shoulder action going on, it's a bit too jarring with the dark liner and dark lips.

Kate Hudson - The 'do reminds me of a Donald Trump combover -- not that I'm mad at it but I definitely prefer her with a flowing mane. The makeup is pretty but nothing is WOWing me. It's all a little frosty.

Lea Michele - She seems as cute and bubbly as her Glee character. I would've opted for a loser 'do but I love the makeup - dark eyes, nude lips never fail.

Maggie Gyllenhaal - Her makeup's aiiight but that hair 'do is hideous. It actually looks painful how tightly it's pulled back.

Mariah Carey - I swear I wore my hair like that back in the 3rd grade. Not cute on a 30-something year-old. At least her decolletage is sparkling. P.S. Hold off on that hot pink blush, boo.

Olivia Wilde - Can someone say brunette Barbie? Everything just seems SO perfectly done... too done, like a doll. That hair is Oscar hair, not Globe hair. It's like it's glued to the base. Makeup is very glam, especially those bedroom lashes.

Penelope Cruz - Love the look, loathe the tan. She's so gorge, why did she have to go out and orange herself? The Old Hollywood glam flip hair is fab though.

Sandra Bullock - Loving the eye makeup. Great use of shimmering white at the inner corners of eyes. Love this trend. Hair is cute but kind of seems like the rain got the better half of it. I realize it's the style but I'm just saying... I'd have gone with something more sophisticated.

Zoe Saldana - She looks like she's going to a high school dance. Too teen. She's gorgeous without a doubt but this is stale. I wish she chose a pop of color, took a chance on a bright lippy or an updo.

Who do YOU think gave great face?

Don't hate me but I think you were a bit too harsh! There really weren't any awesome stand-outs but there alse weren't any real flops. I think everyone looked beautiful, espicially in spite of the rain that would have made someone like me look like a drowned rat! Just sayin...

I think out of the ones shown, I was wowed by the girls from Big Love..they both looked absolutely stunning! I also loved Marion Cotillard and Christina Hendricks. I'm not a huge Aniston fan, but I thought she looked fabulous too.
