2 Looks By SJ

No, not Sarah Jessica, Scarlett Johansson, GQ's Babe of the Year and Dolce & Gabbana's ambassador.

Below, find 2 fabulous looks for Holiday glam brought to us by Scarlett and Dolce & Gabbbana:

SENSUAL

Eyes: Inner and outer lids are lined with Dolce & Gabbana Crayon Intense Eyeliner in Dahlia. Next, the purple shadow from the Dolce & Gabbana Eyeshadow Duo in Dazzling is blended from the outer corner of the eye. Apply the pink shadow from Dolce & Gabbana The Eyeshadow Duo in Guilty and blend from the crease out. Finish the look with several coats of black mascara.

Lips and Cheeks: To complement the smoky eye, the rest of the face is kept natural by applying a bit of Dolce & Gabbana Luminous Cheek Color in Provocative on the apples of the cheeks. On lips, use Dolce & Gabbana The Classic Cream Lipstick in Nude.

EMPOWERING

"Scarlett just radiates this look," says makeup artist, Pat McGrath. "It oozes so naturally, especially with her features, she emanates passion and femininity."

Lips: She is wearing Dolce & Gabbana The Lipliner Precision Liner, Dolce & Gabbana The Lipstick Classic Cream Lipstick, and Dolce & Gabbana The Lipgloss Ultra-Shine Lipgloss all in Ruby.

Cheeks: To contour the complexion, Dolce & Gabbana The Blush Luminous Cheek Color in Rose was applied.

*Notice how eyes are left natural when focusing on a bright lip.

Dolce & Gabbana Summer 2010

Introducing the Midnight Bloom Collection for Summer 2010: profound glamour, languid sophistication and cunning romance. A celebration of Dolce & Gabbana’s singular sensibility inspired as always by their cherished Sicily: its glorious past and the dramatic duality of its intriguing present. With Midnight Bloom, Dolce & Gabbana honor their vibrant heritage with signature brilliance and sultry sensuality. The collection is expressly created for the Dolce & Gabbana woman who flaunts her femininity; who trusts in serendipity; who relishes a luxury that’s effortless; who emboldens reality with a touch of fantasy… and celebrates who she is, inside and out.

The Make Up defies the conventional and celebrates the power of today’s femininity… the look is bold and unexpected, yet softly sensual and seductive.

In collaboration with superstar makeup artist, Pat McGrath, here are the details for the Midnight Bloom Collection (available now at saks.com).

“Summer is when you need to focus on a very natural, seriously sensual beauty. With this collection, we also wanted to add some frisson, capture the dark side, so to speak; create a mood, a look that captures a late summer night’s magic,” says Pat McGrath. “It had to be all about the eyes; with these vivid blues and greens, the eyes are so deep-the ultimate sexy, extremely erotic-especially against the almost imperceptible yet radiant wild rose tones of the lips and the skin.”

Midnight Bloom evokes the Sicilian heritage of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, highlighting the exquisite floral prints that embody the erotic eloquence of Sicily’s traditional wild roses and their delicate nuances. A renewed emphasis on the seductive flavor of the Mediterranean as Hollywood’s siren screen glamour momentarily steps aside. “Summer has such an intense duality. The intimacy and rapture of the night, and the joy of each new day. More specifically, we wanted to recreate the dramatic duality of the wild roses’ delicate shades against the Sicilian night’s daring shades of romance and mystery,” says Domenico Dolce, “There’s such an explosion of colour,” adds Stefano Gabbana, “with the wild roses carpeting the landscape against the drama of the seascape.”

GIRL CRUSH: Scarlett Johansson at the Iron Man 2 Premiere

With all the Met madness it would be easy to forget about the premiere of Iron Man 2, but Scarlett Johansson's glamorous appearance on the red carpet is one that receives my coveted Girl Crush.

She looked radiant. The hair and makeup were flawless, adding an Old Hollywood edge, channeling the likes of stralet, Grace Kelly. I assume that she wore Dolce & Gabbana makeup -- as Scarlett is the face of the collection -- and she did them proud. Notice how defined her brows are, shaping the face and flaunting her gorgeous eyes, dressed up with a black liner and mascara and complimented by a glossy, nude lip. Simple yet timeless.

Products to try:

The Eyeliner Crayon Intense in Black
The Mascara Volumized Lashes in Black
The Lipstick Shine Lipstick in Baby Darling - a semi-sheer nude

As for the hair, Scarlett chose an updo courtesy of hair stylist extraordinaire, David Babaii. "A perfect complement to the flowing waves and graceful lines of her ice blue Armani Privé dress, the look emphasized a flowing cascade of smooth, well-conditioned waves pulled back into a graceful bun."

Babaii used Argan Oil-infused Moroccanoil products to create the effect. "I started with wet hair, working in Moroccanoil Intense Curl Cream for gentle hold and to create a texture that was soft and smooth. With my hands, I then scrunched her hair and manipulated it to get the desired shape that I was looking for. I also used a diffuser to help shape the curls. Next, I gathered Scarlett's hair and pinned it around the back of her head to create a simple and elegant bun. The curls looked beautiful and defined themselves. To complete the look, I misted Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray all over. Scarlett's hair looked fresh and soft, with lustrous curls and fabulous shine. The Moroccanoil products were amazing to work with and helped complete the perfect red carpet look!"
