September is officially here - and that means back to school - no more days spent lounging in the sun - Summer is almost over!
As an homage to the summer months, I've compiled a list of MY favorite summer products (old-timers that I still use and love and new products that I recently discovered).
Here are a few of my favorite Summer things (in no particular order of favoriteness):
Boots No7 Instant Sunshine Shimmer Gel (pictured) - Apply alone for a glistening summer glow or mix with your favorite lotion for a moisturized, illuminating tan. This product makes legs, arms and decollage appear golden, shimmering, and beautiful! $13.99
Sharon Bolton Perfume Oil in Soul - a tropical, yummy, Pina Colada scent that is both intoxicating and subtle. The perfect Summer fragrance packaged with a great roll-on applicator (easy to use while out and about for a quick pick me up!). $42.00
Tocca's Rich Body Polish in Stella (pictured) - an amazing scrub that is both abrasive and soothing. Stella smells like the lovechild of an ripened orange and freshly-picked flower. This whimsical body polish invigorates the senses while getting all the grime and dead skin off your body. The result: beautifully soft skin! Great to use prior to at-home self tanners too! $54.00
Jouer's Cream Eyeshadow in Feather (pictured) - the perfect champagne color that shimmers with a slight irredescent gold. Great to use on the entire lid, then layer with other shadows from there. I also love it to highlight my brow bone, and I put some in the inner corner of my eye to accentuate the eye and make it appear larger and more radiant. Looks amazing with tanned skin and some black mascara! $20.00
Lorac's Blush/ Bronzer Duo in Hot Flash - the perfect bronzer matched with a sheer pink blush to give you that glowing, just-stepped-out-of-the-sun look. A subtle shimmer gives the skin an added pop. $28.50
MAC's Tinted Lip Conditioner Stick with SPF 15 in Strobe Beam - this moisturizing lippy offers the greatest berry hue with an added SPF 15 to protect your pout from the sun. I use it religiously, upwards of 10 times a day! The color is so natural and it's not gooey or overly glossy. $14.50
Neutrogena MoistureShine Lip Soother with SPF 20 in Sheen - a glossy (not gooey) lippy that provides shine, moisture, color and sun protection. The Sheen gives your pout a burst of red. Looks ravishing with tanned skin and a light eye. $6.99
Armada Face and Body Shield SPF 60 (pictured) - a spectacular sun block that offers both UVA and UVB protection and is loaded with zinc oxide to help fight photoaging and melasma. Great for all skin types, even sensitive skin, this product is must-have year round!!! After all, wrinkles and sun damage is NEVER in style. $47.00
Make Up For Ever HD Powder - The most magnificent invisible loose powder that absorbs surface oils, makes pores appear smaller, and gives skin even coverage. Great for those sweaty summer days and humid nights. My skin has never looked or felt so silky and smooth! It's like a primer and lasts all day! $30.00
Fresh Supernova Mascara in Black - Still a favorite, it makes my lashes longer, volumized and gorgeously goth black. Summer was all about a shimmery eye with a bold black lash - this mascara gets the job done! I've raved and raved about this mascara and if you still don't have it, you need to buy it now - a great black mascara transcends the seasons! $25.00
June Jacobs Spa Collection After Sun Hydrator (pictured) - a light, soothing, milk-like body lotion that moisturizer while prolonging the life of your tan. And the scent is purely magical - like a jaunt through an orange grove! (Goes great with the Tocca Stella Body Polish...). $36.00
Smashbox Blush Rush in Crush (pictured) - an apple-pinkinsh blush that really lights up the apples of your cheeks. A subtle shimmer illuminates while the natural yet defiant deep pink color transcends all skin tones. It was an instant favorite (and I love to mix it with the Lorac pink blush from the blush and bronzer duo!). $24.00
Lancome's Absolue Radiant Smoothing Concealer in Absolute Pearl - a fantastic under-eye concealer that isn't cakey (so it's great for the outdoors) but still provides full coverage. It has a bit of pink to soften dark circles AND it doesn't sit in the crevices of small lines, but instead, lifts the surface to offer radiant coverage. Eyes actually appear brighter and the eye area pops with ever-so-light pearl effect. $30.00
Klorane Oat Extract Dry Shampoo (pictured) - takes the cake for best dry shampoo. Absorbs oils AND adds volume with a barely-there baby powder smell. Perfect for a quick pick-me-up when there just isn't time to wash your hair from poolside to club! $21.00
Biolage Sunsorials After-Sun Shampoo (pictured) - this is a must-have shampoo for ANYONE who likes to sun and swim. It purifies sun, chlorine and salt water exposed hair. Hair is deep-cleansed without forsaking its softness and manageability. And for those who have highlights and love to sun and swim, Biolage Sunsorials Protective Hair Oil is a necessity. It helps to shield your tresses against the damaging rays of the sun, salt water and chlorine (nobody wants a green mane...). You spray the oil prior to sun or swim and it not only protects your hair (like a barrier that repels the sun and water's drying effects), it also adds shine and softness! $14.00 for Shampoo $14.00 for Hair Oil

Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer: though its good year round, it does not protect as well as liquid or mineral foundation against the harsh winter. This is great to have a natural summer look and feels light on the skin. Plus this tinted moisturizer gives you an amazing glow!
Smashbox O-Glow: gives you a nice pink tint to complement your glowing skin with Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer.
SUNBLOCK! Any type as long as you get the broad spectrum UVA/UVB and one that doesn't clog your pores.
Softlip lip balm in Melon, spf 20. Smells great, has spf though you probably need to reapply as it has menthol and dries your lips out later but for some reason I always need it.
I LOVE the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer too - I use the sand color, oil-free!
thanks for your faves, Terpitude!
